In Bettiah, Bihar, a young man insisted on buying a mobile from his mother. But his mother could not get him a mobile. After that he committed suicide by hanging himself. After this incident, a mountain of sorrow has fallen upon the woman. Actually, the woman had bought a four-day-old newborn baby when she did not have a child. Then he was nurtured and raised till the age of 18 years. But when his insistence to buy the mobile was not fulfilled, the young man took the step of suicide.
According to the information, this case is of ward number 4 of Narkatiaganj Nagar of the district. The deceased has been identified as Pappu Kumar (18), son of Ashok Pandit, resident of Nandpur village. As soon as information about the incident was received, 112 police team reached the spot and Shikarpur police station started investigating the matter.
The deceased’s mother Nandrani Devi told the police that Pappu came home on Friday evening and started insisting on buying a mobile from her. He said that if you don’t buy the mobile, he will sacrifice his life. He ignored this thing. Then she came out of the house and went to work. When she returned on Friday night, Pappu’s dead body was found hanging in the house. She started crying and screaming, hearing the noise people nearby reached there and brought down the dead body with a noose. It is being told that Pappu was the only son of the family. Deceased Pappu’s father Ashok Pandit works in a sweet shop and his mother goes to other people’s houses to wash utensils.
Ashok Pandit, father of the deceased, told that when Pappu was three-four days old, he had bought him and raised him. He has no other children. The family members are deeply shocked by his death. After Pappu’s death, the family members are in bad condition and crying. His mother is crying loudly.
SDPO Jai Prakash Singh said that action is being taken to take possession of the dead body and send it for post-mortem. Prima facie the case appears to be suicide. Marks of rope were found on his neck. He said that something can be said only after the post mortem report comes.
